Sheldon is the creative force behind Potential Films Inc. Growing up watching family sitcoms like Fresh Prince, Family Matters and Full House ignited his passion for storytelling and he hasn’t looked back. His debut documentary, This Is For Toronto, garnered international success, was distributed to AMC Networks and streamed on ALLBLK, formerly known as Urban Movie Channel.

 

Sheldon is drawn to developing unscripted and scripted personal stories that represent diverse voices. In 2022, Sheldon completed the Black Entrepreneurship Program with the Reelworld Screen Institute. In 2023, he was accepted into the BANFF Netflix Diversity of Voices development program. 

 

He is a member of Documentary Organizations of Canada and the Livelihood Improvement Community Organization.
